Medium Lustre Vessel

Misha lives near Orangeville, Ontario, near the hills of Mono Township. Her work is inspired by fabric design, the ever-changing gardens she works on and the rolling landscape of her idyllic farm. Much of her work is Raku, an ancient pottery technique that uses organic materials, smoke, and extreme temperature changes to achieve cracked and smoky surfaces. "Naked Raku" is an effect caused when glaze/coating chips off during the heating process, creating a unique design that is impossible to duplicate.​
