Natasha Lehman is a contemporary oil landscape painter whose work explores the beauty, atmosphere, and emotional experience of the Canadian landscape. Inspired by the rugged landscapes across Canada, including Georgian Bay, Lake Superior, and as well as scenes from Western and Eastern Canada.

Her work is colourful with gestural mark making and borders representational and abstraction. An intuitive painter, she works in oil preferring the slow drying time and richness of colours. The landscape remains recognizable, while what is left unsaid invites the viewer to bring their own narrative to the work. Her work is less about capturing a specific place exactly as it appears and more about conveying the feeling of being there.

Natasha has a B.A. in Visual Arts from the University of Western Ontario and is represented by Arta Gallery in Toronto’s Distillery District and Martens Gallery in Bayfield, Ontario. She has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions, including The Artist Project, Artwalk Square, and The Other Art Fair. In 2021, her work was featured in Saatchi Art’s Women to Watch collection as part of the global virtual edition of The Other Art Fair. Her work is held in private and public collections across Canada and the United States.
