Horse Hair Raku Jar with Lid

Shu-Chen Cheng is a full-time ceramic artist, originally from Taiwan, who now lives and works from her home and studio in Hamilton, Ontario. Her award-winning Raku vessels have been exhibited in galleries and juried shows, including the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. Her work can be seen in both private and public collections in Canada and abroad. Additionally, her timeless ceramic work is in the permanent collection of the Burlington Art Centre, Burlington Potters’ Guild, and Waterloo Potters' workshop. In 2008, her raku work was purchased by the Hamilton Airport and is on display at the International Arrival Hall.
