Mary Ellen is a resident of Georgetown and has a studio at the Williams Mill in Glen Williams. She is a familiar face in Haliburton and a student at the Haliburton School of The Arts and was previously a member of the Mississauga Sculpture Studio. She is an active member of the Sculptors' Society of Canada and the Ontario Society of Artists.
