Collection: Janet Horne Cozens

Janet Horne Cozens is a Canadian contemporary artist based in Burlington, Ontario, known for vibrant landscape paintings inspired by her childhood in Northern Ontario. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, Janet uses saturated colour, texture and shape to create expressive interpretations of forests, lakes and other Canadian landscapes. Influenced by the Group of Seven, First Nations artists and her background as a printmaker, her original Canadian artwork explores the relationship between people and the natural world.
