Inspired by my love of fashion, I paired the two together to create a whimsical new body of work that I’ve titled TRASHION COURTURE. I believe “trashion,” be it vegetable waste from a compost collection, or plastic from a candy bar wrapper, is an art form of today. It literally stops me in the street and puts a smile on my face, while at the same time, horrifies me at the shear amount of waste we create and carelessly discard.
